That’s my impression too, Makorra is canon Zutara. Since I’m still a Zutarian, maybe it’s pretty absurd I don’t ship them, but that’s the way it is.
Well, there was some kind of chemistry developing between Zuko and Katara or at least I felt that way XD What can I say…I loved Borra at first sight whereas for Makorra I don’t feel anything at all since the beginning. 

Sometimes the complete shallowness of Mako’s fangirls “OMG he’s so hot”  “UNF he’s so fuckable” “What a hottie”  really annoys me. Many people seem to disregard his character and focus on his apparent “hotness”. Don’t get me wrong, Mako is an interesting character, and despite his appearance he isn’t a badass. He has his moments, like when he got protective of Bolin, he’s always take care of him and he’s also mostly the one who brings in the money. I think he’s a good brother. I have absolutely nothing against him, even if lately has been mostly a jerk towards Korra, IMHO. Ok, he was confused and all, but come on, he got jealous when Bolin asked Korra out right after he told her he didn’t feel the same way about her. And then he has betrayed both Asami and his brother kissing back her  (oh Korra, you impulsive girl…) (-.-)

Anyway I really like Korra as a character, and I think the best choice for her is Bolin, ‘cause he’s just too precious for this world ASDFGHJKLMN. They have a lot in common and he liked her since the first time they met, even before to know she’s the Avatar. He bought her a cupcake and flowers, he’s often the only person to make her smile, and as we have seen in episode four, the fact that he would immediately go knocking down doors for her is kind of cute.
So Korra for God’s Sake OPEN YOUR EYES GODDAMMIT and just start to appreciate what’s right in front of you plz.

I hope Makorra won’t turns out to be canon for real, but sadly, for some reasons, I don’t think Borra is going to happen…Anyway I don’t care and I don’t regret nothing, ‘cause
